Bella moves to a new town where everything she once believed in turns out to be a lie.
Bella's POV
"Mom do we really have to move, i like it here." I say to my mom. We are moving to New Orleans and mom knows i hate the idea of that obviously who cares about my opinion.
"I like the idea of moving. New Orleans is so cool." George never agrees with me, his like this opposite end. Ever since dad talked about moving to new orleans, his been going on and on about this movie 'The Originals' , he says New Orleans was created by vampires and their soo cool, but I dont believe him. Vampires are all myths, there's no theory that proves that vampires are real. The Originals is just some sort of movie about vampires, witches and werewolf, it has nothing to do with the real world. George will realize that when his older.
"Bella quit complaining about moving and pack your stuff" mom yells from the kitchen.
"Come on dear, just pack your stuff , New Orleans is a nice place , you'll love it there." dad says that alot but I've looked the place up on the internet and there is nothing special about the place.
I sighed and got back to packing. By the time we were through the moving truck arrived. Mom says our things have to be there before we get there, that way it'll be easier to settle in.
There are about 4 men who came from the company, they look like their in their early 30's or so.
We left the stuffs for them to carry, besides that's what their paid for.
I went into my 'ex-bedroom', its painted peach and not so big plus since the new baby came I've been sharing it with her but that will be over soon.
One of the bright side of moving is that I get my room all to myself. Our new house is a duplex and much bigger than this one. Mom says I can decorate my room in whichever way I please, I haven't thought of my decorarion yet but there'll be some flowers, a painting of one or two of my favourite artists, a reading table ........... Now i think of it , I might actually like it there, cool.
"What's cool" opps did I say that out loud.
"Nothing mom."
She stares at me suspiciously then shrugs. "Alright, get prepared and dress Debbie as well , we'll leave in an hour."
I nod slowly and she leaves. Dad had decided a road trip would be better than getting airplane tickets, whatever, by air or by road, I hate trips, they make me sick, ugh, even thinking about it has the same effects.
Debbie was asleep so it wasn't a big deal to get her dressed but packing snacks while George played games on his phone is so annoying.
"Bella, Jenny is here." Mom believes Jenny is a good friend so she's always excited to see her around me.
"I'll be there in a sec." Well Jenny has been my best friend since middle school. Now am moving it feels like am leaving a part of me here, am really going to miss her. I would've missed my boyfriend too but I don't have one, mom insisted I won't get a boyfriend till I enter college, am like the only girl that passed through final grade without a boyfriend. Mom says I have to be old enough to accept heartbreak, I'm 17, isn't that old enough, my mom can be over dramatic at times.
"Hi Jenny" I say as I hug her." I can't believe we are parting ways."
"Its hard to believe but I guess its for the best." Ugh, Jenny always thinks everything is for the best.
"I'll miss you."
"Me too, call me when you get there, we can still be best friends right?"
"Of course."
We said our byes admist tears and laughter of some good memories.
"Come on Bella, we have to go." Mom says as she made sure the baby's seat is secured. "sorry Jenny."she says to her as she looks up from the car.
"No problem Mrs Andrews, bye." We hug one last time and she leaves.
"Bella don't forget the snacks."
"Okay mom" I grab the snack basket from inside and run out.

Mom sits in the passenger seat beside dad, leaving me to deal with annoying George and the now crying Debie.
"Mom, why is Debbie crying, I think she's hungry."
"There's a bottle of milk in the snacks basket, give it to her." I search through the basket, I don't remember putting any milk bottle in here, maybe mom did. Finally, the milk must have been among the first things mom put since it was at the end of the basket.
I pick Debbie up to give her the milk. Ugh.
"Mom I think Debbie has a full diaper."
"Hand her to me, check her bag there are wipers and fresh diapers, give 'em to me."
Thank goodness, I can now relax and try not to get sick.
The rest of the ride was crazy, funny and annoying. Crazy when the road got bumpy and I felt like puking, funny when Debbie actually puked on mom and dad had to stop the car so mom could clean up and annoying when George won't stop poking me to give him some snacks. Aside from all that, I kept to myself all through the ride pressing my phone though.

He backed her against the wall, his voice a low growl. "Don't call me uncle." A teasing smirk touched her lips. "I gave you everything," she whispered. "But you said I was your partner's daughter.
