Chapter One - Root of Seduction
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐, his body was sweaty and bristly and his hairy, unshorn chest ticked my sensitive breasts as he laid on top of me while delivering the frailest of strokes inside me.
I sighed and closed my eyes. The disappointment I felt every time he made love to me was excruciating. All he would do was stick his diminutive manhood in and then stick it out when he was done. There was no foreplay, there was no communication and at the very worst, he wasn't dominant at all.
I slowly slipped my hands in between my legs and rubbed ploddingly hoping I would feel something while he continued with his strokes. . . anything, but it was just the same. The same as the last time, the time before that and every other time we slept together. I couldn't believe how sexually unattractive he was to me when we were supposed to be in a relationship.
I heard his breath get even heavier as he started to squeeze my hands with his.
"Valerie," he called with his tremulous wheezy voice, "I'm about to finish."
I rolled my eyes. "Really, baby?" I asked, "That's great."
I was caught by surprise at how quickly he raised his head to look at me after I said that, the action looked almost reflexive.
"You don't want me to finish?" he asked, "You want me to keep going?"
"No, it's okay," I forced a smile with my reply, "You can go ahead."
"Alright, baby- ugh!" he groaned loudly and squeezed my hands even tighter which made me scowl. I felt him wiggle and vibrate like a fish on dry land and then he groaned even more. I had never felt so much displeasure especially when pleasure was the thing I was actually seeking at first.
"Oh," he exclaimed as he rolled off my body to his side of the bed. "Wow! That was amazing, baby."
I quickly got up from the bed and put on my panties. "Yeah, it was," I replied. "Don't forget to throw the rubber straight into the trash, this time."
He smiled juvenilely with his head resting on top of his hands on the bed. "You seem to be in a hurry. . . work?"
"Obviously, Ben," I brashly replied, "What about you? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
"I own the freaking firm, baby." He sat up on the bed and stretched both his arms wide in a prideful manner. "I can show up whenever I want."
I didn't say anything in response. If only he knew how much he repulsed me. At times I felt like telling him, bawling at him for how weak of a man he was, how he was getting fat and was doing absolutely nothing about it, how he would let me boss him around like he's some teenage boy with mummy issues and how he couldn't bring me down to my knees and properly fuck me.
Ben didn't do anything wrong per se, he wasn't an awful guy and he didn't treat me in a bad way. He simply wasn't the type of man I wanted, he was weak and too submissive. He wasn't masculine enough.
He and I met when I first came to San Francisco. I didn't know anyone or any place at all and so one night, we met at a diner and he offered to show me around. We started dating a few weeks before I got my job and we've been dating for three months.
"I'm going to take a quick shower," I said to him as I proceeded to leave the room.
"Come on, I'll talk to your boss. Tell him that you're sick or something, I'm sure he would let you have the day."

"No he wouldn't, Ben," I replied, "Besides I've already called in sick two times this month, one more time and I could get a salary cut."
Ben snickered and when I turned to look at him, he had a boastful smirk on his face.
"What? It's not like you're gonna need the money," he said. "I already pay for everything."
I gave him a frown as a warning and his vexatious smile quickly disappeared.
"Never say that to me again," I told him.
"Yeah, you're right, I'm sorry," he quickly apologized. "That was stupid and disrespectful of me."
๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ข ๐ค๐ฐ๐ธ๐ข๐ณ๐ฅ.
I ignored his apology and proceeded into the bathroom.
I had to hurry so I would show up at the office before he did, so I could watch him walk into his office.
I'm not talking about Ben this time.

I work in a perfume company named Capella as a beauty consultant and the secretary to the Chief Executive Officer. It was the most illustrious job I had ever gotten and I was obsessed with making sure I proved that I was worthy of it, especially to one man - The Chief Executive Officer himself.
His name was Leandro de la Vega.
The image of a man that comes into a person's mind when they hear that name is usually generic. But no matter how much you think Leandro looks like, he certainly looks much more better, much more prepossessing and glamorous. He was a resplendent flawless man and I wasn't more obsessed with anything else.
"Boss is coming!" I heard Kovacic yell from his office. Everyone hurried to their respective seats and the entire office lobby became as quiet as a cemetery. I pretended to be busy with my computer as I hit random letters on my keyboard while eyeing the door through my office's glass walls, waiting for him to walk in.
The door squeaked loudly before it then slowly opened and his scent suddenly engulfed the air. I knew I was staring and I also knew I had a smile on my face because I felt it turn into a frown when I saw who was with him - his fiancรฉe, Chastity Barracks. She walked pridefully behind him with a wide smile on her face, I still didn't know what he saw in her at all.
I tried to concentrate on him. He held a huge cigar in his right hand as usual and his left hand was in his pocket. His glossy brown hair was even more groomed than it normally was and his stubble beard had been lined again. It was easy to tell from his suit that he was built with nothing else but thick, strong muscles and I couldn't get my eyes off his arms.
"Morning, boss!" I heard someone say to him.
"Morning," he replied to them with his seductive throaty voice.
"Good morning, boss."
"Boss, good morning."
"Morning, boss."
He replied to some of them and nodded his head to the rest. I quickly got off my seat and hurried to the door so I wouldn't miss him.
"Good morning, sir," I said just in time as I opened my door. He stopped walking and turned to look at me, I noticed Chastity eyeing me too.
"Maddox?" he said pleasantly, "How's your morning?"
"It's been good, sir." I smiled.
Chastity looked at him and then back at me, she obviously seemed uncomfortable with what was happening.
"Alright, so my usual?" he asked, "In the office. . . in like three minutes, a bit more sugar this time."
"Will do, sir," I quickly took a deep breath of the air to catch his scent as he walked away. I blushed, sucking in my lips in as I watched him walk into his office. Once I noticed his fiancรฉe was looking at me, I quickly frowned and walked back into my own office.
Three minutes later, I knocked on Leandro's office door, a cup of coffee in my hand and a donut on a tray.
"Come on in," I heard him say.
I opened the door and walked into the office trying to maintain my catwalk while I balanced the tray and the cup of coffee. My eyes caught Chastity still looking suspiciously at me and I wished she would just stop because it made me even more nervous than I already was.
"Your usual, sir," I said as I dropped the coffee and donut on his desk. On top of the tray, I had also placed the timetable for his activities that day so I picked it up and dropped it in front of him.
"And this is the timetable for everything you have in store for the day," I added.
"Thank you, Maddox," he said as he nodded his head and dropped his cigar on his table. "Mhm baby, have you met her?" he turned to his fiancรฉe "My secretary, Valerie Maddox, she's very resourceful."
"I'm sure she is," Chastity gave me an intimidating smile, I don't know why she felt threatened by me, he was her fiancรฉ.
"Does she know who I am?"
He turned to look at her with one of his eyebrows raised, "What the fuck do you mean by that? Everyone here knows who you are."
I couldn't stop myself from smiling as I stared at his face, even when he swore it sounded so sexy.
She caught me smiling again.
"My fiancรฉe woke up on the wrong side of the bed today," Leandro said to me, "Which also explains why she chose to pick this suit for me."
I giggled with my hands on my back, playing with my fingers.
"Well, I think she did a great job," I replied, "You look. . . amazing in it."
Leandro smiled back at me for the first time since I started working in that company and I almost fainted on the spot but thankfully all I did was blush even harder and play with my fingers behind my back.
"I need to talk with my fiancรฉ," Chastity declared, "You. Leave." She pointed at me and then at the door in such a disrespectful manner that I froze in confusion for a couple of seconds.
"Didn't you hear me?" she said snobbishly.
I looked at Leandro, awaiting his approval or for him to say anything. He was relaxed on his chair, still with his left eyebrow raised and his hands clasped together. He looked at me and nodded his head.
"Leave," he said.
"Alright, sir," I slowly turned around and flounced out of the office, making sure my heels hit the ground as loudly as they could as I walked out. I wasn't angry at Leandro for telling me to leave, I could never be angry at him but Chastity just lit the fire and I was the one who was going to fuel it. One of us was going to get burnt.
I knew it felt stupid starting a war over something as tiny as that. But I had always been looking for a reason to fight it out with her, no matter how cheap it was and Leandro was going to be the prize at the end of all of it.

"You're mine, little puppy," Kylan growled against my neck. A soft gasp escaped my lips as his lips brushed my skin. My mind screamed at me to push him away-the Lycan Prince who had humiliated me again and again, but my body betrayed me, leaning into him before I could stop myself. He pressed his lips against mine, and his kiss grew more aggressive, more possessive as I felt my legs weaken. What was I doing? In a split-second, I pulled away and slapped him hard across the face. Kylan's eyes darkened, but the smirk on his lips exposed his amusement. "You and I both know we can't fight this, Violet," he said, gripping my wrist. "You're my mate." "And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
