Happy nanny company>>

I bowed my head in shame, waiting for the scolding I was going to receive in a few minutes. Just thinking about it gives me a headache.

i am feeling kinda guilty right now and i can't look him in the face, i am feeling it's going to be kinda intimidating to look him in the eyes.

I raised her head a little and saw him drumming with his fingers on the table and shivers ran down my spine, bad shivers because whenever he's drumming with his fingers it means only one thing...*he's fed up*

Seeing my boss in this quiet state makes me realize how much he's getting tired of me. I really need to find a new job soon.

"erm, sir i know that..."

"Just shut it!" he yelled, cutting me off.

I clenched my fist and teeth, trying to suppress the anger that was built inside of me. Only God knows how much I hate it when someone cuts me off.

"What is wrong with you claudia?!" he hollered and I bit my bottom lips hard. I think I will have to deal with this for now, since I don't have a new job to show for it.

"I am sorry sir, I just lost control of myself." I apologized but it seemed like music to his ears.

"lost control?, this is not the first or second time you've done something like this, if you are tired of being a nanny, you should quit!" he yelled and I let out a sigh.

"It wasn't actually my fault sir, those children were so annoying and I tried to play cool with them but they didn't heed to my words, so I had no choice but to give it to them."

"give it hot to them?claudia those kids are not even up to thirteen. what is wrong with you?" he said calmly before taking his seat.

I know I overreacted today but those children were more like little devils. I mean... how can they put sleeping syrup in my juice and tie me up, trying to use me to make their experiment? That's outrageous.

Soon my boss stood up and walked over to a water dispenser and took a full glass of water. He drank it all in one gulp and massaged his temple lightly, then he walked back to his desk.

"Claudia, you are suspended till further notice. you may leave now." he said, immediately he took his seat. wait! what?, i can't believe this...he can't just fire me for a little mistake.

he sat down and started reading through a file that was placed in front of him, which i gave no fuck about. When he realized I was still standing in front of me, he looked up and sighed.

"And what are you still doing here?" he asked.

What am I still doing here? ok,I think I've acted way too nice.

"I am still here because what you said makes no sense. I mean, how can I be suspended?"

"you violated the rule and it's not the first, second, or third time you are doing it. This is a company, where I get phone calls from different people all over Georgia, asking for a nanny. this is where i make my money and i don't want you to ruin anything." he said and i calmed down a little.

I know it's my fault and am being a pain in the ass right now, but he also needs to understand me.

"but that doesn't..." he cut me off.

"Claudia Smith, you are suspended till further notice and am busy so you may leave." he gestured with his hands, showing me the way to the door.

"stop cutting me off!" I yelled and he flinched slightly. ok, I am done being nice.

"You know what?Once I step out of that door, I am never coming back and no matter how many times you call me, I won't pick up your calls!"

"no, you are not going to do that," he said and chuckled lightly.

"Of course I am going to do that, I am going full boss bitch!" I yelled again, this time with a bang on his desk.

He tried to stand up but the expression on my face made him stay on his spot. That's one thing about me, when I get angry I act like a maniac.

"You can't do nothing claudia. I know you are still going to come back to me and beg me to take you back." he said and let out a snicker.

ok, i think he's right because i need this job right now to pay my outstanding debts but i can't let him win, i can't let him see me as a loser.

"watch me." I said with a smirk and quickly dashed out of his office.

he should go to hell with his nanny job, and am no longer interested.

I hate to admit this, but I really need this job but I can't go back now, not after yelling and calling him a bitch...lol.

I looked at the building and let out a sigh before averting my gaze to the road.

"taxi" i hailed a taxi and it pulled over.

AUTHOR P.O.V

Claudia alighted from the taxi and paid the driver before walking to her doorstep.

she placed her hand on her door handle and found her door opened.

"But I locked it, why..." she trailed on her words and pushed the door open.

she got in and found music playing from her speaker, then she shivered slightly but took a step forward and turned it off. Though her apartment was dark, the street light shone directly into her house.

"Did somebody break into my apartment?" she asked in a whisper while searching for her phone in her bag.

After bringing out her phone, she turned on the flashlight and walked over to where the light switch was placed.

she turned on the light and in a flash somebody held her hand from the back, then she got stuck in the spot.

"Please don't kill me, I have a family." she said but there was no response.

"I am willing to give you everything I have...just please don't kill me." she said again, this time in a trembling voice.

"turn around." the person behind her said and slowly, she turned around but a gasp escaped her lips and she frowned.

she pulled her shoes and threw them at the person in front of her.

"ouch, Claudia, easy...do you want to hurt me?" Sofia asked with a grin.

"I think I should kill you, not hurt you." she threw her bag at the person.

Sofia laughed out loud at the response from Claudia and collapsed on a couch, still laughing as she held her stomach tightly.

"I wish I had seen your face when you were scared. I mean, you were trembling and you told me that you were willing to give everything you have to me, I never knew the claudia I know is such a scaredy cat.`` Sofia said with unbelievability in her voice.

"so?I was just scared, ok?I almost had a heart attack. don't try that next time.`` Claudia warned and she raised her hands in surrender.

"Fine, I won't."

Claudia hmmmed then walked into her room and opened her wardrobe, looking for casual wear.

"how did you even get the key to my apartment?" Claudia asked with a yell as she removed her bra and put on a lightweight purple gown.

"Have you forgotten you are my cousin?Besides, you gave me a spare key just in case!." Sofia's voice bounced into her room.

Claudia walked over to her makeup table and took out a wipe before heading for the living room.

"You came back home early today, what happened?Did those kids show you hell again?" Sofia asked with a chuckle, and when she was about to take a bite from the biscuit she was holding, Claudia snatched it from her and ate it instead.

"That's mine." she whined which made Claudia roll her eyes as she cleaned her face with the wipe, trying to get the make-up off her face.

She took a seat opposite Sofia and crossed her legs like a buddhist.

"I quit my job. congratulate me."

"what?!!" Sofia exclaimed with a frown.
