Having been married for three years, we are finally going to meet today.

I stayed up all night dressing myself, four hours on makeup and two hours on dressing. I hope he likes me a little more.

"Why belittle yourself?" If Abbi Miller was here, she'd probably sigh.

Three years, I've been preparing for three years to be his perfect wife. Etiquette, cooking, dancing, flower arrangement, maternity care...

I don't know what kind of women he likes, but I try to learn as much as I can.

I haven't seen him for the past three years, but I'm completely in love with him.

A woman's moan shatters my dream and drags me back to harsh reality.

Then I hear Leo's voice.

He is panting and groaning. I can't possibly have mistaken this familiar voice.

But I'd rather never hear it.

Stiff all over, I approach his office like a walking dead. The door is not closed, and I see him fondling another woman.

I cover my mouth before screaming.

But I can't hold back my tears.

I waited for three years before he agreed to see me.

But he gave me a big surprise.

For a split second, I feel as stupid as a clown in the dark for the past three years.

No matter how hard I try, I can't amuse any viewers.

He hates me.

He likes other women.

It's impossible for him to love me.

He shows me the cruel truth on my happiest day. He is tearing apart all my fantasies and dreams with his own hands.

Even though we have done the most intimate things, even though he is my mate, even though we are married, he still doesn't love me.

He succeeds in tearing my heart apart, if that is what he wants.

But the pain wakes me up.

My marriage is irretrievable.

I have already done my best.

So it's time for a divorce.

I wipe away my tears and leave, never looking back.

(Leo Wilson's POV)

"Tomorrow at 9 am, send a woman to my office."

Yesterday, I gave Alva Watson, my assistant, a task.

Alva didn't seem to understand me.

"Sir, do you want a female assistant?" He tried to confirm it.

Alva knew that I never brought any women back.

So I made it clearer.

"No, I'm going to meet my wife. Find me an actress."

Alva was even more surprised, but he did it without hesitation.

I looked at my finger and my wedding ring was no longer there.

Three years ago, a sudden global financial tsunami nearly engulfed my company. I was forced into a commercial marriage with Flora Mana, the woman who shamed my mother and me.

I know she is innocent. She doesn't know why she hurt me and my mother.

Ada Mitchell, Flora's mother, is my father's first love, and my father is still carrying a torch for her.

As a child, I hardly ever saw my father and was raised in a single parent household.

My mother hates Ada. She has extended this hatred to Flora and taught me to do the same.

It's all their fault.

So in three years of marriage, I have never seen Flora.

I start acting with the actresses.

I hear her steps change from light to heavy.

She must have seen us.

Then the sound of her footsteps fades away.

This is enough.

"Take your money and leave, don't play tricks."

The actress is still seducing me and I push her away.

Frustrated by my indifference, she begins to dress slowly. It looks like she isn't giving up yet.

I lose my patience and get dressed to leave.

The actress hugs me from behind." Sir, you've given me too much. Don't you want more?"

I know what she wants.

So I push her away.

"Get away from me. Get out of my office. Now!"

"But my dress..."

"Go away!" I exasperate.

The actress rushes out of my office with her dress in her arms.

I cannot deny her stunning beauty.

But I already have my mate.

I don't know what she looks like or where she is, but I can't forget the soul-stirring feeling of hugging her. At that moment, I knew I couldn't accept any other woman.

Flora Mana, the actress, or anyone else.

After the divorce, I will go to her with all my strength.

I will definitely find her. I firmly believe.

So I must get a divorce and reject Flora as my mate.
