I kick his chest with my foot and watch him fall and wince in pain. It doesn't do much to the anger I feel because of him. "You're going to fucking speak up and tell me who sent you," I snarled, grabbing his collar to raise him up. His face was swollen and sweaty with a mix of blood.
I don't care about that-I gave him a sharp round punch to the chin. He stared at the river of blood that appeared and flowed down his torso.
He's crying riotously but I don't feel even the slightest sympathy toward him. He falls on his back and closed his eyes. The tears were gushing out the sides of his face and it makes me more aggravated.
"I don't think this guy's working for anyone," Jayden said, standing beside me. I sigh out of irritation and shove my hands in my suit pocket. "It's either he speaks or I kill him," I affirmed moving to the basin to wash off this dirty guy's blood off my knuckles. He's got it all over my white shirt. I groan softly and take off my blazer and my white shirt and toss it on the ground.
"Clean up the mess," I say and head out. I could hear him pleading but it was too late. My guys already know what I mean. And before I could even reach to my room, I hear the gun shot. I head into my room and went straight to the bathroom to wash off the misery that guy rubbed all over me.
Turning on the nozzle, the first drop hit my skin and I always already feeling relaxed. I sigh, leaning my right hand on the bathroom wall. This was the first time this has ever happened to me. I always traveled without anyone knowing my movements-not even my mother that I tell everything.
This is the first time my opponents found out about my whereabouts and I haven't even spent a day here in Nebraska. I feel like Aldo has to do with this. He wants me dead after all. Bringing my father and Jayden's parents down wasn't enough for him.
He still wants to end me just to inherit everything my father and I fucking worked for. He thinks I'm that offhand and imprudent to let him have what belongs to me? If I find out he's behind this, I will make sure he gets what he deserves. I don't care how powerful he is. All I know is he'll never beat the Leonardo family. We are strong and unbeatable.
I step out of the shower, leaving those thoughts behind and wrap a towel around my waist. I step out and encountered with Jayden in my room. I shrug the look he's giving me off and head to my closet. He's about to tell me that what I just did was too brutal because Jayden is the soft and kind type.
He has been with me since I was ten and we are thirty-three now. He's basically one of the few people I trust. He's like the brother I never had. We're always together and inseparable.
"That was a bit too harsh back there," he says, pointing at the door. I chuckle softly, wiping my body with a small towel. I toss it in the laundry basket and opened my closet.
I planned to go to the beach today and there's nothing stopping me from doing that even after I know that I'm being watched.
"You should be used to this by now," I tell him, wearing a black short sleeve shirt. I wear my boxer short and a knee length shorts. He's now pacing back and forth in my room which I don't know why. He halts and look at me.
"How the fuck do you expect me to get used to seeing people get brutally killed?" He spoke, clearly frustrated. I take everything I need and head for the door.
"You're the son of a Mafia boss, get it over with."
**
Half an hour, I was at the beach after the chaos that happened in the morning. Jayden had warned me to stay lowkey but I wasn't ready to do that. I am here because I need to rest, not hide from some prick that isn't even half powerful and rich as I was.
It'd literally take me minutes to track down my enemy and put him in his place. Even if it meant ending his life. I sat on the beach hammock, my gaze shifting from the hot ladies waving at me to the crashing waves of the ocean.
I feel as if I were swimming in the salty scent of the lovely spring sunlight as if the first rays of the day gave a frisson of vitality to my fingers. It was a day for me to keep me eyes wide, as if I was an old-fashioned camera, waiting for the picture to develop.
I breathed a sigh of relief as I relaxed back and place both hands under the back of his head to repose. I love the seashore, but I seldom had the opportunity to do that back in Italy. It's hard to do anything when you're always in danger and being spied on.
"Hey, handsome."
When I heard the unusual voice, I knew it was one of those low-cost ladies looking for the slightest attention they can get. I groan softly and opened his eyes, centering them on the woman obstructing my sun path.
I had my sunglasses on so, I examin her from head to toe. She had the type of physique you'd see on the front cover of a bikini store magazines. She was stunning, so stunning that you wouldn't help but look twice.
When she noticed I was staring at her, she bit her lower lip and flipped her blonde hair back so I'd get a better look of her full chest. I smack my lips together and leaned back, closing my eyes.
"I don't have anything fascinating to say, but I just wanted to talk to you." She spoke in a tempting way, but I don't even shunt. I just needed some alone time, but that was plainly impossible. If only she knew who I was and how much of I threat I am to her life, she would've run for safety.
Whoever decides to fall in love with me should know that they're putting their lives on the line and they are ready to risk it. They are ready to have the most reticent life after we get together and the public finds out. She tried to join me on the hammock next to mine, but I stop her right away.
"You're so cheap and tedious that you don't seem to realize that I'm not interested in you and you're not my type. Get up and leave before I summon my men to accompany you... and they're not nice." She jerks back her head a furrowed her brows. I could clearly see the exasperation and irascibility on her face. My remarks were venomous. And I bet she had never met a guy who was as vicious and egoistic as me.
"Jerk!" She spat and walked away.
I heave a sigh of relieve when she left and leaned back. I strained and relaxed, stroking my temple. I could feel the headache and annoyance settling in because more women came flirting with me as if they were waiting for an opening, which irked me-it reminded me of why I don't go out in public.
That is why I make sure I lack nothing in my house back in Italy to avoiding craps like this. My eyes were drawn to the most sexiest body I have ever seen while looking about in utter animosity. I tensely stare as she leaped and her boobs hurdled, making me feel tensed.
She had a shapely, twine-thin physique. Her waist was slim, and she had a gleaming fair complexion. Sweeping eyelashes were framed by arching brows. As she returned the volleyball, her sparkling, angel-white teeth shone. Her flowing, moon shadow-black hair was a sight to see. Her alluring, constellation-blue eyes were framed by heart-shaped lips. I didn't have to think twice on this.
That's it, I've met my wife on Alaska beach and I am not letting her slip away from me. She's perfect for me and she looks like she doesn't care much about social. She's just perfect for me and I couldn't as more in a woman's body.
Two obnoxious ladies stood in my way of meeting my ideal girl. Irritation surge inside me as I groan, "Oh, for fucks sakes, leave me alone, you low-cost, gold diggers." I pushed them out of my way but before I could reach the volleyball court, where I had seen my girl-she was gone. She has already departed the shore.
I glance about excitedly, but she was nowhere to be seen. How could I fucking lose my future in just a split of second?
