there are five known cultivation level and three sub-levels , the white level also know as the qi gathering realm, the bronze level also known as strengthening realm, the silver level also know as the sword realm, the gold level also know as the cultivators realm, then the mysterious and hardest level to achieve in the cultivation world the purple level, also known as the ascension realm .

the sub levels are low, medium and peak with his increase in the sub level of a cultivator, a massive change occurs the strength between each sub levels are increasingly heard to breakthrough to, a considerably amount of qi is required to be gathered before each breakthroughs.

originally all this knowledge flowed and missed with izanagi's memories when his soul was teleported, the original fifteen year old izanagi was a weakling without the ability to gather the qi of heaven and earth and make it his own, so he was always despised and looked down upon by his fellows desciples in the sect and that was the main reason he couldn't resist the misty brothers and was injured leaving only a thread of life in his soul allowing the foreign soul to possess it's body.
