Asher's POV:
"Now Faith, will you still love me? Even if I'm a demon?" I asked sadly.
I can see the surprise on Faith's face. I'm also being eaten by nervousness right now. No matter what she says, I'm still ready to love her, even if she doesn't love me back.
I've been doing this for a long time even before when she doesn't know me yet. I'm used to just staring at her. Whatever Faith's decision is, I will respect it.
I was surprised when Faith came to me and touched my face. She smiled at me sweetly and wiped the tears that fell from my eyes. I was surprised.
"Is this love? It feels good." She said with a smile.
I couldn't stop myself from hugging Faith. My body spontaneously returned to human form, she was the only one who could calm me down. I am very happy today. So much.
"D-Do you really love me?" I asked.
"Yes Asher, I love you too." Faith replied.
I couldn't stop crying at Faith's answer. This is so gay, I can't stop crying because of the joy. Tears of joy it is.
"Shh, don't cry. I'll take back what I said, come on. Do you want that, huh?" Faith threatened me.
"I do not want that." I said like a snort.
I immediately wiped my tears and got ready. Faith laughed at me and pinched my nose.
Only with her will I be like this. Even if I pretend to be a dog just to make her happy I will do it.
"You're cute, you know that?" She said cutely.
"Yes, I know, it's been a long time. Of the many men in the world, I'm the most handsome. You're lucky, Faith." I joked and she snorted.
"You're really arrogant! You're even windier than the air!" She said and hit my arm.
I picked up Faith in a bridal style and laid her on the bed. I was on top of her so Faith's eyes widened. I laughed at her reaction.
"A-Asher, I'm not ready yet." Faith said nervously.
I burst out laughing and lay down next to her. Faith frowned and hit me in the face with a pillow. Seriously, did she think we were going to do that?
"Ouch! It's just a joke. I'm just making you laugh. You always make me really happy." I said smiling.
I just shook my head because Faith suddenly stood up from the bed and was about to go out the door. I pulled her hand so she fell on top of me.
"We are not okay." She said with a snort, she's cute.
"Just make up with me." I joked that her eyes widened.
I burst out laughing again because of Faith's reaction. I just kissed her forehead and hugged her. Hey, I can't believe it. Faith is mine now.
"Just kidding again. Can we stay like this for a while? I don't want to wake up if it's a dream." I said smiling.
Faith stared at me as if estimating my facial expression. What is she doing
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm just staring at you, because you're handsome. I guess every part of your body screams perfection." She said shyly and nuzzled into my neck.
I just shook my head while laughing. I couldn't get the smiles off my lips. I've been staring at her for years, now my wish to at least talk to her has come true. And now I also able to flirt with her.
"Also Asher–"
"Stop calling me Asher. Do you want to know my real name? My name is as handsome as I am." I asked.
"Of course, of course! What is your real name? It's a good thing that I love you." She said excitedly and tapped my forehead.
"My real name is Dylan Lucien Bloodshed. That's what I use in the Demonic Realm. Asher is the fake name I used." I admitted to her.
"Your name is beautiful, Princess Dylan." Her joke made me frown.
"Princess?" I asked.
"Princess Dylan, because you are fierce." She joked again so I just shook my head.
"I thought I would just always follow you from afar. You know that? It feels good to reach your dream." I said.
I tucked Faith's stray hairs behind her ears. She is really beautiful. Add to that this woman is smart, resourceful, brave and strong. Who wouldn't fall for her?
"Even though I'm taking a bath, you're following me?"
I was suddenly choked even though I wasn't eating because of Faith's question.
"Of course not! I just follow you around town sometimes when walking. Sometimes you even keep up with me. O-Of course, not with your p-privates." I said smiling.
"How did you start liking me? When and where?" Faith asked one question after another.
I laid her down next to me and put her head on my arm. I thought about what happened before. How did I?

"Niccolo, go to the records room. Please get the files of the deceased, thank you."
I nodded at Valen's order and went to the records room. I searched the hologram map where the files of those who died were placed. Even here in heaven, high-tech.
I was doing research when a picture of a baby caught my eye, it caught my attention. Every day babies that are conceived and born appear on the hologram maps.
I pressed that and looked at her files. I was surprised to find no information about her parents. I'm especially curious, why is there no mention of who the baby's parents are? This beauty was abandoned by the parents?
I looked at this child's private information. She doesn't have a name yet, she hasn't been born yet.
My heart beat faster when I saw her timeline pictures. It shows what she might look like when she grows up.
She was so beautiful, I stared at her face even more. She looks like a model, her physical appearance is almost perfect. You have almost nothing to criticize. I think the women will get shy when they stand next to her.
I don't know what went through my mind when I hid her information. I feel, I don't want anyone to see her. Only I can.

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner—my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn’t offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend’s apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I’d spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend’s face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.

I spent four hours preparing a five-course meal for our fifth anniversary. When Jackson finally walked into the penthouse an hour late, he didn't even look at the table. He just dropped a thick Manila envelope in front of me and told me he was done. He said his stepsister, Davida, was getting worse and needed "stability." I wasn't his wife; I was a placeholder, a temporary fix he used until the woman he actually loved was ready to take my place. Jackson didn't just want a divorce; he wanted to erase me. He called me a "proprietary asset," claiming that every design I had created to save his empire belonged to him. He froze my bank accounts, cut off my phone, and told me I’d be nothing without his name. Davida even called me from her hospital bed to flaunt the family heirloom ring Jackson claimed was lost, mocking me for being "baggage" that was finally being cleared out. I stood in our empty home, realizing I had spent five years being a martyr for a man who saw me as a transaction. I couldn't understand how he could be so blind to the monster he was protecting, or how he could discard me so coldly after I had given him everything. I grabbed my hidden sketchbook, shredded our wedding portrait, and walked out into the rain. I dialed a number I hadn't touched in years—a dangerous man known as The Surgeon who dealt in debts and shadows. I told him I was ready to pay his price. Jackson and Davida wanted to steal my identity, but I was about to show the world the literal scars they had left behind.
I sat on the cold tile floor of our Upper East Side penthouse, staring at the two pink lines until my vision blurred. After ten years of loving Julian Sterling and three years of a hollow marriage, I finally had the one thing that could bridge the distance between us. I was pregnant. But Julian didn't come home with flowers for our anniversary. He tossed a thick manila envelope onto the marble coffee table with a heavy thud. Fiona, the woman he'd truly loved for years, was back in New York, and he told me our "business deal" was officially over. "Sign it," He said, his voice flat and devoid of emotion. He looked at me with the cold detachment of a man selling a piece of unwanted furniture. When I hesitated, he told me to add a zero to the alimony if the money wasn't enough. I realized in that moment that if he knew about the baby, he wouldn't love me; he would simply take my child and give it to Fiona to raise. I shoved the pregnancy test into my pocket, signed the papers with a shaking hand, and lied through my teeth. When my morning sickness hit, I slumped to the floor to hide the truth. "It's just cramps," I gasped, watching him recoil as if I were contagious. To make him stay away, I invented a man named Jack-a fake boyfriend who supposedly gave me the kindness Julian never could. Suddenly, the man who wanted me gone became a monster of possessiveness. He threatened to "bury" a man who didn't exist while leaving me humiliated at his family's dinner to rush to Fiona's side. I was so broken that I even ate a cake I was deathly allergic to, then had to refuse life-saving steroids at the hospital because they would harm the fetus. Julian thinks he's stalling the divorce for two months to protect the family's reputation for his father's Jubilee. He thinks he's keeping his "property" on a short leash until the press dies down. He has no idea I'm using those sixty days to build a fortress for my child. By the time he realizes the truth, I'll be gone, and the Sterling heir will be far beyond his reach.
