"Loy .... Run!" Emi said loudly.
"No Emi. I will stay with you forever. Here, with you," Loye replied softly.
"Loy! For the last time, please listen to me." Emilyn wailed.
"I don't care. My life is only for you Emi, remember that! After all, we've...,"
Craaash
"No! Loye wake up!"
Emilyn woke up from her dream, the same dream repeated for the umpteenth time. Loye, still alive in Emilyn's arms.
Emilyn swore a little harshly, "Damn it! I had that dream again."
Emilyn's head really hurt now. Plus, the image of a handsome man with green irises was clearly imprinted in Emilyn's mind.
"Come on Em. It's just the past, he's just an ordinary human," Emilyn said irritably.
The sentence Emilyn had just said was clearly a lie. There was no way she could forget that man. The man who had made her understand how it felt to be loved so deeply.
Tes
"No! I can't cry," Emilyn said softly.
Emilyn wiped her tears repeatedly. It was midnight but Emilyn was awake from her sleep. Loye was still alive in Emilyn's mind. She couldn't forget the memories of them together. Although Emilyn often said she didn't need a man to love.
Tok tok tok
A loud knock on the door broke Emilyn's reverie.
"Midnight? Seriously," Emilyn was annoyed.
"What's wrong?" asked Emilyn.
Emilyn's question was accompanied by her opening the door a little loudly.
"Are you okay?" asked the man.
"Come in!"
Emilyn looked away in disgust. The man who knocked on her door in the middle of the night was no one else but her eldest brother.
"Hey! You haven't answered my question yet," he entered Emilyn's room.
"Never mind James! You're just wasting my time. Don't ask so many questions. You should work harder," annoyed Emilyn.
James exhaled heavily. He understood his sister's character very well. Instead of assenting to Emilyn's words, James chose to sit on sofa.
"Hem ... for sure dreaming about Loye again, right?" James probed with narrowed eyes.
Emilyn immediately turned her face away, surprised by the truth of James' words.
"Don't meddle too much in my business," Emilyn retorted a little nervously.
"Never mind. You can't lie to me, I know it."James looked deep into Emilyn's eyes with many questions.
"Even you dream again, it doesn't matter. I know your condition," continued James.
"Enough James!" snapped Emilyn.
Emilyn raised her voice, she was so fed up with people who seemed to care about her.
"Take care of yourself and your romance."
"All I ask is that you take care of the sycophants in our company." Emilyn walked away from James. Her heart a little frantic, she headed to the swimming pool to calm her fighting mind.
Tik
Flames rose from the cigarette lighter Emilyn had lit. A puff of smoke started coming out of her tiny mouth. Coughing slightly, she continued to suck strongly on the cigarette that was now stuck to her lips.
"Damn! How unfortunate my fate is," Emilyn growled to herself.
The subject of Loye continued to haunt him. Loye's figure made Emilyn so dizzy with the life he had to continue for who knows how long.
Drrrt
Reaching into his pocket, Emilyn picked up the flat object.
"Yes, what is it?" asked Emilyn lazily.
"Where are you Em?" said someone on the other side.
"Hem...," Emilyn just mumbled, knowing what the other person would say next.
"I'll call you later."
Tut....
Emilyn disconnected the call unilaterally. She threw away the lit cigarette in her hand and stomped on it roughly.
"Oh my God! What to do this time," Emilyn said, ruffling her long wavy hair.
Her long wavy hair was so alluring to the opposite sex. The Lycan blood flowing in her body blended in perfectly. However, it was a disaster for Emilyn.
Emilyn returned to her room. The first sight she saw was James, the annoying guy.
"HUH!" Emilyn snorted in annoyance when she saw James' shameless face.
"What do you want again," Emilyn said slamming the door to her room.
"Wow! Don't get emotional. Look at that door!" he was shocked to see the door to Emilyn's room instantly shattered.
"You better get out of here! Before you meet the same fate as that door," Emilyn said sharply.
This time, James didn't say much. He complied with Emilyn's request by leaving her alone. Before leaving Emilyn, James looked intently into Emilyn's beady eyes.
"As usual, you're always hard to persuade," James stroked his sister's head, then walked away.
"I wish Emilyn had never met that damn man!" James growled.
Before James could leave, he called the maid to quickly fix Emilyn's bedroom door. Deftly, with just a flick of a finger, the servant had already fixed Emilyn's bedroom door to its original state.
"Ah ... I'd better get some sleep." Emilyn thought.
"In the news this morning, for the umpteenth time, renowned CEO James Moonstone was caught on camera with a beautiful girl. Is that girl his girlfriend that many are currently talking about...."
CKLIT
The television channel was simply turned off by Emilyn. Her morning was a mess. Just as she sit down on her favorite sofa, the bad news suddenly appeared. Emilyn picked up the cell phone lying on the table, intending to call someone.
Tut....
"Good morning, my little girl," the man on the other side answered.
"James! I'm really going to kill you, if you don't shut up those rotten media soon," Emilyn said emotionally.
"Haha. As usual, you don't like being seen by the media. I will try to do something to those media. But, I guess it's useless. Everyone has already seen you, dear," James said a little jokingly.
"As usual. You're annoying and unpredictable," Emilyn quipped.
Silence. There was no response from James.
"Emilyn. How long are you going to keep hiding like this?" said James on the other side.
"Ah yes. I'll call Daddy, bye," Emilyn replied.
Instead of answering James' question. Emilyn hurried to turn off the phone.
BRAK
Emilyn threw her cell phone in a random direction. She got up and paced around like a confused person. Her flat, stony face didn't show anything.
"Calm down Emilyn. At least those media assholes don't know your true identity yet," Emilyn muttered softly.
"You're look straining. Just relax."
The voice from behind Emilyn successfully surprised her.
