After a one-night stand with Gavin Russell, the Powerful and cold alpha CEO, Iris Green was smitten and she thought there could be something between them after realizing they were fated mates. Her hopes were crushed by his harsh words, "I don't eat the same food twice." Broken, she returned to her city to manage her family business but soon realized that a seed had been planted. Giving birth to a set of twins, she could not endure raising them alone, when they looked exactly like him. She sent one of them to Gavin with a note, "Dessert after supper." Gavin frowned when he received the parcel, from his son. He sent people to fetch that blondie but it was as if she disappeared from the face of the earth. Of course, the Green family was mysterious and she was the new head of the family. She only gets seen whenever she wants to be.
GAVIN
ONE NIGHT IS ALL IT TAKES
In one of my expensive and luxurious presidential suites, I sat at a corner, staring at the bed where a slim figure lay across the bed, her outline evident in the dark room.
The black evening gown she was wearing was still intact and I could feel that she was awake, staring right at the ceiling with her hands placed on her stomach. Her long blonde hair was spread across the bed and as the moonlight shone on it, it reflected back.
"Are you sure you want this?" I asked her in a calm voice.
As I said these words, she raised herself from the bed, staring in my direction. "Do you think I'll be here if I'm not sure I want this? And who knew I would discover something new." I could see a smile on her lips but I wasn't even bothered about it.
Placing the glass in my hand on the table before me, I stood up and started to pull out the buttons in my shirt.
"Strip." I ordered in a cold tone.
She knelt on the bed, slowly pulling off the straps of her dress, revealing her beautiful and delicate body. She wore nothing but a strapless bra and her panties and the beautiful figure of her body could be seen.
Without a word, I grabbed her face, pulling her into a hungry kiss and she kissed me back with equal hunger as she pulled my already unbuttoned shirt off and her hands headed towards my trousers.
Before she could get to it, I grabbed her hands, pulled my belt off with the other and then tied her hands with the belt. My silence and action was enough to tell her I want nothing interfering with my moment and she just complied, softly moaning as I kissed her neck down to her body.
I pinned her to the bed, straddling her as I made my way down to satisfy myself with her body and she answered to me just as I wanted.

The ray of sunlight slowly hit my face as I opened my eyes, staring at the high ceiling. I felt a head on my chest which made me look down and I could see the blonde beauty still asleep on my chest but I didn't care.
I pushed her off my body, swinging my feet to the floor. This action woke her and I could hear her groaning as she stretched lazily.
"That was a nice night, don't you think, Gavin?" Her soft and delicate voice floated to my ears but I just ignored her, walking into the bathroom to have a shower.
I returned to the room to find her dressed in my shirt, her gown in her hand. "There's no spare clothes for me so I borrowed your shirt." She flashed me a bright smile and her intoxicating scent mixed with roses filled my nostrils again.
I never thought I would meet my mate in a one night stand experience with one of my interns. I wondered how I have missed that detail since all these days but that was the least of my concern now.
I walked over to the table, took out my chequebook and scribbled something on it before handing it over to her. She looked at me in confusion as she read the content with her.
"Why are you giving me five million dollars? Is something wrong?" She asked, her tone failing to hide her panic and confusion.
"Leave." I ordered plainly before walking towards the closet to get dressed and by the time I returned to the room, she was seated on the bed, dressed in her black dress from last night.
"I don't understand what you're trying to say, Gavin. I am your mate. Our wolves confirmed it and you're not going to act on our mate bond?" She stood up to walk over to me but a single glare from me stopped her from inching closer.
"You might be my mate, Iris. But I am not interested in you." I replied coldly, walking past her. "And besides, I don't eat the same food twice."

I sat behind my desk looking down at the pile of paperwork before me. A frustrated groan escaped my lips as I stood from my seat, looking out the glass window behind my table at the lake behind the house.
It had been months since I saw Iris and she lingered in my mind and I didn't exactly know why. It wasn't like I was in love with her or anything. I just wanted to have a night with someone who wouldn't let the whole world know about it unlike those other female dogs.
"She's our mate, of course you will feel attracted to her." My wolf said lazily in my head. "You didn't even bother breaking the mate bond."
"It doesn't matter, Gray." I rolled my eyes. "It's not like I believe in any of those mate bond stuff anyway."
"And you seriously run a whole pack and encountered your mate over ten months ago? Despite the gap, you still can't get her out of your mind and you still don't believe? I have no remark." Gray said dramatically in my mind but I just ignored him, walking over to the mini bar in my office and poured myself a glass of wine.
A groan of frustration escaped my lips again as I tried hard not to throw a fist into the wall before me. Despite always thinking about her, I hadn't bothered looking for her after my assistant, Jerry, told me she left the company without completing the internship she was here for.
"Why do I care?" I mumbled before gulping down the entire content in the cup before letting out a satisfied sigh. Of course, I cared but my pride won't let me go after a woman after pushing her away and not caring to look for her these past months. I've never done such a thing in my entire life.
"You're just too prideful..."
"Shut it, Gray. Why don't you go look for her and plead instead." I snapped at him with a frown before heading back to my seat to drown myself in work again. It wasn't like I had anything better to do than to just oversee everything in this pack.
A sound from my iPad made me look towards it and I could see a video call coming in. I answered the call, I heard a pitched scream of my name. "Gavin Russell." My mother said, staring daggers at me.
"Luna Russell, how may I help you?" I asked in a sarcastic tone, leaning into my chair to stare back at her.
"You do not by any chance think I am growing younger as days go by, Gavin, do you?" She asked and I could already tell you what she was about to rant on about. "I should at least have gotten a grandchild from all the women you've been sleeping around with."
"Impossible." I replied nonchalantly, looking at the paper in my hand.
"Gavin..."
Suddenly my doors was pushed open and Jerry was standing there with a worried look on his face. "I'll speak to you later, mother." I hung up, looking back at Jerry with a raised brow.
"There's a huge issue, my alpha." He said, a maid walking in with a basket and from the basket, he picked a note, handing it over to me.
"Here's your dessert then." The note read and looking into the basket, I could see it.
