A relative came to stay at my house, and their mischievous kid purposely barged into the bathroom while I was taking a shower. His mom said, "What harm can a little kid do by looking at you for a moment?" My puppy was tragically killed by the little demon when he threw it down. His mom gave him a thumbs up saying, "My son is so brave." Later, I found out that her son had a condition called hyperactivity. This time, he poured a basin of water on my piano, and I just smiled and gave him a big red envelope as a reward.
When my relatives came to stay at my home, the boy barged into the bathroom while I was showering.
His mother said, "He's just a little boy. It doesn't matter that he looked at you."
My pet dog was thrown to death.
She praised her son with a thumbs-up, "My boy is so brave."
Later, I found out her son had a problem with supermale syndrome.
This time, he poured water on my piano, and I cheerfully handed him a big gift.

My father always hoped for a son, but he ended up with just me, his only daughter.
A distant relative, whom I'd never met before, was coming to stay at our house. She brought along a seven-year-old boy.
My father was thrilled and agreed without hesitation.
When I got the news and rushed home from school, I nearly had a heart attack.
The house looked like a dump, with toys scattered everywhere.
The white walls were covered in random stickers, and the coffee table was littered with half-eaten snacks.
The chubby brat was jumping on my new sofa with his shoes on. When he saw me, he acted as if I was invisible.
My father introduced us with a smile. "Laura, this is Sally Barrett, your aunt. And that's your cousin Nicholas Castro."
I frowned tightly, and my tone wasn't pleasant as I said, "How can you let him jump on the sofa with his shoes on? These are the sofa cushions."
Sally looked stunned and glanced at my father with a grievance.
"Laura, don't say that," my father intervened to smooth things over. He handed Nicholas a peeled apple and said, "Nicholas, take this place as your home."
The brat wasn't grateful to my father at all. He glared at me fiercely and hurled the apple at my head. "Did you hear that? This is my place. Get out!"
I was shocked by the brat's audacity and the beverage I dropped from my hand.
The apple hit the shelf behind me, shattering antique vases and ceramics all over the floor.
Nicholas's eyes lit up. He rushed over, shoved me aside, grabbed the beverage, and tried to gulp it down.
I was furious. I reached to take it back, and Nicholas bit my hand and said, "How dare you take it from me? I'll bite you to death! My mom says women who take things from men are shameless."
I was furious. Did he think he was a prince?
I slapped Nicholas on the back of his head angrily.
The brat staggered from the hit, and I took the chance to kick him hard a few times on his ass.
He screamed in anger, and I laughed as I poured the beverage into the trash. "How can you be so bold? I'd rather throw it away than let you drink it!"
Nicholas cried loudly, and Sally went berserk, rushing over to shield Nicholas.
"You are so unreasonable. How can you beat my son over a drink? Are you bullying us because we can't afford it?" Sally wailed while looking at my father.
My father tried to calm her down, but she cried even louder. Her voice was so loud that it could give the dogs downstairs a heart attack. "I can tell Laura isn't happy to have us here. We should just leave and stay at a hotel."
I never thought I'd meet such bizarre relatives outside of novels. If I didn't teach them a lesson, it would be a waste of my acting skills.
I grabbed Sally and Nicholas by their collars, dragged them to the door, and said, "If you're leaving, hurry up. My house is too small to accommodate you two big shots!"
Seeing I was serious, Sally sat at my doorstep and started wailing. "I am so miserable. I came to the city with a boy who has to go to school. I am unfamiliar with this place. So I came to my relative's home. Laura, you've never been a mother. So you never know how hard it is to raise a kid alone. Everyone, come and judge for me. They have really forgotten their roots after they lead a good life in the city."
My father couldn't bear the embarrassment. He helped Sally up and scolded me, saying, "Laura, if you dare to drive away Sally and Nicholas today, you'll no longer be my daughter!"
02
Sally and my father were distant relatives. They were only connected because Sally's father helped my grandfather once.
My father was worried about what people would say and insisted on keeping Sally and Nicholas at our place.
He promised me that they'd only stay for a month and leave as soon as they rented an apartment.
I said, "I'm studying out of town. It's not appropriate for them to stay alone with you at home, right?"
My father glared at me and said, "We're relatives. What are you thinking about?"
I had no choice but to repeatedly warn them not to touch my things before dragging my suitcase back to the school dormitory.
Out of sight, out of mind.
Later, I called my father several times to urge him to send them away, but he always brushed me off.
During the holiday, I returned home to get some materials. As soon as I stepped in, Sally and my father were stunned.
Only Nicholas charged at me like a bull. He rummaged through my pockets and muttered, "Where's the money? Where's the money? My mom said your money will be mine. Why don't you have any money? I want money! I want to buy lollipops!"
This brat really knew how to rile me up every time we met.
Seeing I ignored him, Nicholas looked furious and was about to beat me.
I pushed him hard, and he fell against the door, landing flat on his face.
I darkened my expression and questioned my father. "Why are they still at our house?"
My father looked embarrassed. He stammered without giving me a straight answer, while Sally acted like she was at her own home.
At dinner, Sally sat in the seat where my mom used to sit.
I held back my words, and Sally shoved her phone in my face, insisting on setting me up with her nephew.
The photo showed a man who looked over 200 pounds, with a greasy, sleazy face.
I turned away impatiently, but Sally took on a lecturing tone. "Laura, don't set your sights too high. Women who are too picky won't find a husband in the end. But Nicholas is different. He's a boy. The older he gets, the more popular he becomes."
I broke into a sweat with anger. As I turned into the bathroom, I could still hear her stirring things up with my dad. "Look at Laura. She is spoiled by you and has such a bad temper. Nicholas is much better than she is."
I had just applied shower gel when the bathroom door suddenly burst open.
Nicholas looked at me with a terrified expression and laughed wildly. "Wow, you had a big butt. Shameless!"
I was furious, and I grabbed Nicholas by the neck and pushed him against the bathroom wall hard.
Nicholas's shrill screams brought Sally in. As soon as she saw Nicholas being hit, Sally lost all reason and slapped me several times.
I was naked and couldn't fight back. Sally kept hitting me while cursing, "I told you not to hit my son! He's just a kid. What's wrong with him looking at you? I think you're the shameless one, with dirty thoughts!"
My lip was split from the beating, but Sally played the victim in front of my father. "Laura went all out to beat Nicholas. I was just too scared and beat her a couple of times."
