When I opened my eyes again, I found myself back on the day I was adopted.

"Tina, Gillian, come over here," called Maria. She was the director of the orphanage.

I was Tina, and the other girl was Gillian.

We ran over to Maria.

Maria explained that two women, Mrs. Sirena Glover and Mrs. Violet Holmes, were adopting us. Maria let Gillian and me make the choice.
