Laura Jung is a rich woman with no problem flaunting her wealth. When she finds a neko that catches her eyes at an auction, she's ready to take the innocent girl home to play.
A smirk fell on my lips as the other bidder lowered her paddle with a grumble. I had been confident I'd outbid the other man anyway, but it felt good to best her regardless. There were many words that described me -- beautiful, arrogant, and annihilating -- but humble wasn't one of them. I have no issue flaunting my wealth and made a habit of frequently attending auctions such as this to do just that.
I licked my lips, debating on whether to go retrieve my prize now or wait until the end of the auction. After a few moments, I decided to allow the anticipation to build for both myself and my new pet.
If the slave was as appealing up close as she seemed on stage, she certainly would not end up as an expensive gift for one of my friends as many purchases had before. It wasn't even the girl's looks that appealed to me so strongly, though she was beautiful. There was something else.
An hour later, after the last slave was sold, I headed behind the stage to the holding rooms.
"Good evening, Miss Jung. Who will this one be going to?" Jack, the attendant, mused.
"This one's mine."
Jack raised his eyebrows in surprise but quickly handed me a key. "Well, I assure it'll be up to your expectations, Miss Jung. Room three."
I nodded his thanks and proceeded down the thin hallway. Upon opening the door, my eyes instantly landed on the caged neko in the corner. The room was just large enough to have a little floor space in between the small cage and a crude bed - in case someone couldn't wait until they got home to try out their purchase. It was totally silent for a few moments as I waited for her to stop holding her breath, her tail wrapped tight against her scantily clad body and her ears flat against her head, almost hidden in her wavy hair. She started breathing again, though she stopped when I closed the door and approached the cage. The girl attempted to huddle farther against the back of the cage. I removed the lock and swung open the door; she clenched her eyes shut, bracing herself to be pulled or dumped out.
"Come out."
I stepped back and sat on the bed to allow her space to crawl out, but she remained where she was. I growled, "Or would you rather get your first punishment before I even get you to the car?"
She simply whimpered.
It only took me starting to stand to get her moving. She just barely left the cage, hunching over on her knees and covering her head. "Please! I'm sorry," she squeaked.
"If I have to threaten you every time to get you to obey, your life will be miserable. Come here." I snapped my fingers and pointed to the spot directly in front of me.
She crawled the short distance and returned to her previous position.
"Sit up straight and put your hands behind your back."
She slowly obeyed, leaving her eyes trained on the floor. I took her chin between my thumb and forefinger, forcing her to look at me. Her already erratic breathing hitched yet again, and she looked like she was on the verge of tears.
"Are you going to behave, now?"
She nodded.
"You will answer all questions verbally, and address me only as 'Mommy.' Do you understand?"
She nodded again, so I tapped his cheek with my hand.
"Try again."
"Y-Yes, Mommy!"
"What's your name?"
"J-Jane."
I gently stroked her face. I could find out anything I needed to know about her in her file, but this was simpler.
"How old are you?"
"I'm eighteen."
"Can you read and write?"
She nodded, and this time I smacked her cheek a little harder.
"Sorry! Yes, Mommy, I, I can," she whimpered.
"Are you a virgin?"
Jane's eyes widened, and she threw herself back against the opposite wall before I could grab her. "Please, no! Please, Mommy, I'll be good!" Tears began falling freely down her face as she pleaded. "Please, Mommy!"
I stood, and she retreated into the cage, sobbing and trying to hold the door shut so I couldn't get to her.
"Stop." I easily opened the cage door and pulled her out. "Calm down. I'm not -- "
She made a break for the door and managed to barely open it before I slammed it close and grabbed her arm, yanking her back. I pushed her towards the cage, feeling my blood begin to boil. She realized her mistake, cowering from my rage-fueled glare.
"Cage." Jane obeyed. I locked her in then left the room, slamming the door behind me. I stalked up to the counter where Jack was filling out paperwork, growling, "I want her cage loaded into my car in the next ten minutes or you'll never see my face again."
Jack jumped, no doubt questioning whether he was allowed to give me the cage, yet his job was ensuring customers returned -- and I was their best customer. "Yes, of course, Miss Jung!"
I heard him yelling for the burly slave trainers as I headed for my SUV.
Sure enough, within three minutes two men came out, carrying the cage and my terrified, sobbing slave. I popped the trunk, and they slid it in with ease.
"Is there anything else we can do for you, Miss Jung?" One of them asked.
"No." I made sure the cage was secure, double checked I had the key, and closed the trunk. "Thank you. I'll have the cage returned within the week."
This time the other one spoke, "You don't need to bother - consider it yours, Miss Jung. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance."
"I will." They headed back to the auction house, and I slid into my front seat. I sat still for a few minutes and tried to calm myself - the last thing I needed was a bout of road rage. From the back, Jane spoke just loud enough for me to hear her, "I'm really so-sorry, Mommy."
"You should be. Now be quiet." I started the car. "And try to stop crying; you're going to make yourself sick."
