Chapter 1

After a long dry and very tiring day, the good old night is finally on the way.

It is when the moon is up, there glows and gleams, and during the hours when it is to have a sweet dream.

Juliana Moore is in the kitchen cleaning and washing the plates used to eat by her family, she is the beautiful wife of Mr. Moore.

She is a believer and a word-based woman, she attends Graceland Apostolic Evangelical mission, where she serves as a chorister in the church.

After she finished sprucing up the kitchen, she removed the apron she wore, and headed to the parlor, she met her sister-in-law, phobe by name watching films.

"Aunty phobe, are you not going to work tomorrow? this is 10:00 pm" she let out from a concerned heart.

Instead of phobe to reply, she stood up, switched off the tv, walked past her, and hissed, Juliana, didn't take the insult to heart because she has gotten used to her disrespectful manners towards her.

Juliana reposition the tv remote and walked into her bedroom where her husband Moore lay on the bed.

She slumped on the bed, beside her husband, and she touched her husband.

"Honey let's pray," she said

"Okay, pray tonight and I will be saying Amen," he said tirelessly

"Okay honey," she said

"Everlasting Father, we adore you this evening because you are God.

Your mercy endures forever over our family, may your name be forever glorified.

Father, I ask more of your grace over my family in Jesus' name.

Guide us in our dream, and let us wake up peacefully tomorrow.

Touch the heart of sister phobe in Jesus' name.

In Jesus' mighty name we prayed(Amen)

"Amen," the husband replied faintly with his wobbly eyes.

She finished the prayer, wrapped herself with a duvet, and lay beside her husband.

After some minutes, she was tossing and turning on the bed, trying to give her husband a signal of her been craving his touch, the husband blinked his eyes and see his wife caressing him, he shifted away from his wife, and she didn't want her to disturb his sleep.

The husband refused to ask her what was wrong, then she stretched her hand and touched him.

"My Love, I need you" she stuttered.

The husband pretended not to hear, but she touched him again.

"Love, I need you," she said caressing her husband's body roughly.

"What is it this woman?" the husband yelled suddenly.

"I'm sorry love, I want you," she said.

"I don't get you, want me for what," the husband said pretending.

"I want us to have sex, it has been a while since we have it last and you know we are looking for a baby, we should be having it every day," Juliana said.

The husband flared up immediately

"Did you want to kill me?"

"I provide for the house, take care of you, still I tried to have sex with you always so that we can have our babies.

I don't deprive you of sexual intercourse after a long day of work, what has it produced in our life for the past five years? still, there is no child, you haven't conceived for a day not having a baby, am tired of wasting my sperm and energy, on an empty vessel," the husband said angrily

Tears seeped out from the eyes of Juliana Moore, flowing to her cheeks.

"I'm the one giving baby, God is the one and he has promised us that we will have our baby," she said with a shivering voice.

"I'm not disputing God's promise, am only telling you am tired of wasting my sperm," the husband said.

"If you he refused to release sperm into me, how will God's promise be fulfilled".

"The one I have poured in the past, let it manifest, when I see the result, then I will know if I should pour another" the husband said angrily.

"My love please I need you, I promise to be the one at the top, I will do the main job, all you need to do is just watch me, I will do it myself," Juliana said, loosening the belt of his husband's trousers.

The husband jumped up and seated on the bed facing Juliana, he removed the hand of the wife with hands from his belt and holds the two hands.

'Are you my wife Juliana Moore?" the husband asked staring at her.

"I'm your wife" she replied

"I want to be sure because my wife will never say she would stay at the top while I stay beneath, she counted it as a sin," the husband said in a mockery tone.

"I'm sorry love, that was before, going into the marriage seminar has made me realize is not a sin," the wife said.

"Thank God for that but am not interested," the husband said suddenly and laid down on the bed backing the wife, the wife tried to touch him again.

"If you dare touch me again, I will leave the room for you, and you know the implication if my sister gets to find out her precious brother sleep outside the room due to his nagging wife," he said angrily.

Juliana resisted touching him again because she knew how terrible her sister in law character was, Moore has been the best husband to her at the early stage of their marriage, but suddenly everything changed, after two years of their marriage when Juliana couldn't get pregnant.

Instead of Moore, helping her wife during this period of the storm, he abandoned the storm for her storm alone.

Juliana married Moore because she loves him, and he is a believer like her, they prayed together, go to church together, attend relationship talks and marriage seminars together before they got married, and after the marriage, they continued their love life in this way but everything changed after two years marriage.

She has been praying for God's intervention in her home, but it seemed God is silent over her marriage.

She couldn't sleep throughout the night, her heart was heavy, and she didn't see it happening when she got married to the love of her life.

She slipped down from the bed with tears seeping down her cheeks, she went into the parlor with her Bible.

She kneels beside the table in the parlor.

"Father lord I have come before you today to appreciate..... " she couldn't finish her sentences when she busted into crying.

She cried for a while before she was able to suppress her sad emotion and pray unto God.

"Father, I didn't choose this marriage myself, you choose it for me, Lord give me my child, touch the heart of my husband, and let him love me more than before''

"You are the only one I have, I have no one to run to, father I'm here before you lord, forgive my sins, if my childlessness is as a result of sins, give me my child in Jesus' name"

She cried till she slept off in the parlor forgetting to wake up at the appropriate time for his husband and sister in law, food preparation.

And her sister-in-law likes to eat before she goes to work.
