care, she felt like a teenager again. Gina had forgotten how to feel loved, she had also forgotten how to love herself. All these years she didn't want to believe in lov

manipulated. Why couldn't he have just been single? Gina also wouldn't have minded if he was sleeping around. Why did he have to marry this gold-digging fowl? It had been years and this lady was still pestering her life. Gina took in a deep breath and then breathe out, she put on her best fake smile and tilted her head. "Barbara, how many times do I have to tell you." She leaned closer to her. This time Gina wasn't filled with fear she was annoyed. Barbara leaned closer to Gina as well. "How many times do I have to tell you no?" They're close to each other, they could smell each other's perfumes and feel each other's warm breaths. Gina could slap her stepmother's face right now, but she chose not to because she wasn't violent. "What're you gonna do? Send another death threat?" "I don't know what you're talking about." Her smile was still on her face. This time Gina laughed and picked up her phone. "Security." Barbara stood up straight, she still had that smile. "You won't hear the last of me." She turned around and walked out of the door. She dropped the telephone and she sighed. She didn't call anyone, she just did that to scare her and it worked. She jumped when her door swung open again but she relaxed when she saw it was just Scott, Scott Rogers being protective as always. "Are you okay?" He asked and Gina felt like that was either sarcasm or a rhetorical question. She didn't mean to show her fear in front of him, she couldn't help it. Maybe putting her woman power aside for five minutes wouldn't hurt anyone. "I've waited too long." She finally said. "That bitch is planning something big, and we have to stop her. Scott nodded in affirmation. He was always going to be by her side no matter what. And she knew that he knew that she knew that. "What do you want me to do?" He asked with a smile, he had been waiting a long time for this takedown. **** Dave Davis had arrived at Green's apparel to take Gina out on a date and like always being CEO meant she could do whatever she wanted. She told Scott to help pile a few documents and she saw that he was pissed off. She could even hear a growl. She knew what was going on, he still didn't like Davis and he didn't trust him as well. Gina gave him a look telling him she was fine and he nodded in agreement, his face was still hard. Davis escorted Gina out of the building. Gina was surprised Dave took her to their favorite restaurant. Russo's. Russo's was their favorite restaurant. They had been going there since they were in high school. The owner of the restaurant Mr. Justin Russo had seen them as his best customers. There were even times when they got food for free. Gina barely came here after Dave ghosted her, when she told Justin that she and Dave weren't on speaking terms anymore, he was just as heartbroken as she was. Justin once described their love as beautiful and unbreakable. Gina believed it and she believed that her love for Dave was real, she thought he felt the same way but now that he was back, maybe he did love her after all, and today was the day he was finally going to tell her why he had ghosted her
